I used to get kind of mad at my mom when I was little for correcting my spelling for the words “colour” and “blonde” to “color” and “blond.”

Can I move to the U.K. yet?

I always used to spell blond “blonde”. And then I stopped, like a year ago. And it’s kind of sad.

I still spell it like that if I’m writing really fast.

theatre, metre, organise….all of these. along with blonde and a few others.

…..except for “blonde” is not the british english way of spelling blond.

blonde=feminine

blond=masculine

it’s universal all over the english language. smh @ these anglophiles sfm.
